This course is split over online training and one evening sessions from 1830-2200:

• Wednesday 24th February 2016
  
• NSW Rugby Union, Volvo Centre, Allianz Stadium, Driver Avenue, Moore Park 2021

The NeckSafe® Programme teaches the frst person on the scene of a potential Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) how to assess and manage the situation.

It is an 8 hour course specifically dedicated to an injury which could ruin the lives of an individual, his family and friends, and cost the community upwards of $3 million. Law suits in this area commonly top $20 million, but the social devastation can be much worse.

COURSE REGISTRATION

Level 1 is suitable for players, coaches, parents, trainers and first responders

Level 2 is aimed at professionals such as doctors, physiotherapists etc

This Category One Activity has been approved by the RACGP QI&CPD Program. Total Points: 40 Category One points

• Transporting the “spinal patient”
